I'm confused...is *some* cheese OK on restricted?

by Mom of 2
(Midwest)

These menus look great, and I can see the additions for Liberal Phase 1 are noted with **. But, it still looks like these is some dairy (in the form of cheese) scattered throughout the menu. For example, blue cheese on Day 1, Lasagna on Day 2, Cheese Quiche on Day 3, etc.

I was under the impression all dairy was prohibited at the restricted level, except heavy whipping cream. Could some one let me know where I'm wrong?

Hi there Mom of 2!

You should be confused! I'm so sorry I missed a couple of the menu items that contain cheese.

In looking at the sample menus, I need to re-work it and will do that today.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The restricted Phase I allows for no dairy unless one chooses to add a few Tbs. of heavy whipping cream to their morning coffee. I allow for this because from my experience, so many would abandon the program all together if not for their morning coffee.

In good health and thank you again for bringing this to my attention!
