by serendipity

How much L-Glutamine can I take for cravings if I'm in the first 10 days of your Phase I program?

I'm in my 5th day and having trouble with cravings ;-(

Those cravings can really get the best of us!

L-Glutamine can be taken as a preventive @ 500 mg. 3x a day as well, one can keep capsules handy and open under the tongue as a sublingual to squelch that craving in a matter of about 3 minutes.

One can safely take very high doses of L-Glutamine depending upon the intended use.

Wow, Misty, thank you for the information on this. I just started taking it today for exercise recovery.

Now I know it has an added benefit.

I'm glad you found this helpful Colette!

Your post reminds me that there are several benefits for L-Glutamine, one as you mention is muscle recovery. Glutamine also assists in gut healing and is recommended for those who suffer leaky gut and other digestive issues.

This little amino acid has saved many practicing a life of sobriety as well!
