Dear Misty
I wanted to thank you for passing on the importance of eating natural unprocessed foods.
I have always thought of myself as a health conscious eater. I thought I was eating healthy but the canned fruit and vegetables, whole wheat bread, non fat dairy and the low fat snacks were misleading. I've really noticed the difference when I experienced my 3rd pregnancy. My 1st pregnancy I was 22 years old and weight 125 lbs. By the time I had my son, I weighted 175 lbs. I gained 50lbs. I remember always being tired. I tried to walk as much as I could when I had the energy. I ate as healthy as possible or what I thought was healthy. As far as I knew, I was experiencing a normal pregnancy and all the symptoms that went with it. It didn't take me long to lose the pregnancy weight but I also suffered from post partum depression. This caused me to not have much of an appetite and I then lost too much weight!!
My second pregnancy I was 26 years old and weighed 130 lbs. By the time I had my daughter I weighed 176 lbs. I had gained 46 lbs. I again experienced all the same pregnancy symp0toms with her as I did with my son, plus some. The Dr.'s told me that some of the pains I was experiencing was everything returning to normal. I didn't start losing my pregnancy weight until my daughter was about 3 years old.......
That's when I met you Misty and started learning about the meaning of "real food" and in no time I was down to my pre-pregnancy weight and felt great. All thanks to eating natural unprocessed food.
I just had my third baby at 31 years old and I can't believe the difference of this pregnancy compared to my other two. I had so much energy and felt great! I didn't feel pregnancy but I was reminded when I feel my little one moving around inside. I have worked at he same place for the past 12 years and have many "regular" customers that have experienced my other pregnancies with me. They also couldn't believe the difference of how I had carried the pregnancy compared to my other two. They ask me what I am doing differently and I tell them what you've passed on to me. My starting weight was 134 lbs. and when I delivered this baby,. I weighted 156 lbs. I only gained 22 lbs.!! That's half of what I gained with the others.
The delivery and recovery was also so much easier!! I had a healthy 6 lb. 13 oz. girl. I have also had so many people tell me that they can't believe I just had a baby. She is almost 2 weeks old and I weigh 144 lbs. I only have 10 lbs. to lose to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I thought it was going to be harder to lose the weight since I've always heard with each baby the pregnancy weight is harder to lose because of age. I know this isn't the case. I now know that it all has to do with how well you take care of your body......If you feed it natural foods that it can easily process, it makes all the difference!!
What amazes me the most is the energy and how great I felt. I worked right up until I had her. I wasn't getting home from work and passing out on the couch. I had the energy to play with my kids and walk every day. I didn't have that drugged tired feeling I felt with the other pregnancies.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
There's only one downfall I experienced......My husband now thinks it's "nothing" to be pregnant and have a baby.
