Seeds

by Kelly
(Santa Rosa)

Hi Misty, It was such a joy to meet you yesterday. My Mom finally has hope regarding her IBS.

I wanted to ask you about Seeds. Are seeds okay for me in my weight loss goals?

Are there certain seeds that are okay and certain seeds that should be avoided?

Thanks!

Hi Kelly!
It was such a pleasure meeting both you and your Mom. I have had a great deal of success recommending diets for IBS and this particular one I gave your Mom is going to give her great relief I am sure....

You are so much fun to advise because your thirst for information is infectious! I love assisting clients like you.....the results are always tops!

As far as seeds right now, I would say stick to chia and flax. Most specifically chia for your purpose though. Do make sure you gel them first and add them to a bit of yogurt for a tapioca effect. This might also be a nice addition for your Mom but if she finds they give her stomach pain, she should discontinue right away.

Take 1/2 cup chia seed and add 2 cups of water, sit over night in the refrigerator in a mason jar and add a couple of tbs. to your yogurt.

This is a "diet pill trick" too without the diet pill. The chia keeps you full for an extended period of time. It also has a beneficial side effect of working as an internal hydrater and used by many sports enthusiasts.

I look forward to seeing you both soon!

In good health,
Misty
