A friend has just been diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome.

Thank you for your question!

I'm sorry your friend has been diagnosed with Sjorgens.

Sjorgens, an auto-immune disorder is characterized by dryness of the mouth and eyes.

Autoimmune diseases feature the abnormal production of extra antibodies in the blood that are directed against various tissues of the body. Somewhat of an "over amped" immune system of sorts. This particular autoimmune illness features inflammation in glands of the body that are responsible for producing tears and saliva.

The absolute best diet for your friend is one that optimizes immune health by providing essential vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids.

A diet of organic free range animal proteins, organic vegetables and low sugar fruits with the addition of traditional and tropical fats will elevate ones health and immunity.

Grains and dairy can be problematic foods for many and there is a great deal of evidence that gluten containing foods contribute to many of the auto-immune conditions today.

Supplementing with Cod Liver and Krill Oils are vital, health elevating nutrients.

There is some great evidence out there as well that supplementing with Reishi Mushrooms normalize the immune system. Whether it be an over amped immune system or a sluggish immune system, the reishi is known to "regulate."

Pass the website on and have your friend drop by and say hello!

As Always,
In good health
Misty
