If I'm reading this correctly, you had the fungus before you began the plan and now it's gone?
If I understood you, this is a classic case of Candida Albicans. It's an imbalance of bacteria causing outward signs of distress. Fungus, dandruff, vaginal yeast infections, ring worm and rashes.
Since you've been on plan for a couple of months now, your flora is normalizing and you are healing.
Candida, like cancer feeds on sugar.

I also have had problems with toe fungus. I had a fungus on 8 toes. Even after going low carb, I kept this fungus.
Now, after using coconut oil as a dietary staple, 6 toe nails have cleared and two others are getting better. I ingest coconut on a regular basis and that has also become my skin cream. I know the "medicinal" purposes of coconut oil and I am glad that I discovered it.
Initially I couldn't believe how expensive it was but now that I use it for so many things I realize that it is the biggest bargain on the market.
